Tiredness I've been experiencing for sometime,
I haven't really rested or slept in awhile.
My eyes are droopy, covered with dark circles,
I'm seeing more blues and pinks and purples.
My body aches, I'm tired to the bone,
My head feels heavy, like I'm carrying on it,
a sack filled with stones.
I can't move my limbs anymore,
I think I'm going to drop any moment on the cold hard floor.
I can't take a step forward, feels like I'm climbing Mount Everest,
Waiting for the day where I just do nothing
And for 24 hours only rest, rest and rest.
The funniest part is when I want to rest, my toddler's awake,
And I need to be all there and alert, for the lil fellas sake.
When I was a banker, I'd be so tired, I'd have nightmares of my bosses and Foreign currencies,
But now as a homemaker, I have dreams of bargaining with Bhajiwalas for vegetables and green chillies.
So whether you're at home or work there's always going to be Tiredness,
But sometimes it's better being a homemaker than dealing with the office madness.
