Today, 30th December 2011 is the Reunion of the alumni of Apostolic Carmel High school,
Meeting old friends and beloved teachers would have been fun, in Mumbai with it's winter nice and cool.
Where you'd hear incessant laughter and happy banter,
And non-stop gupshups and constant chatter.
Girls catching up with each other after many years,
Old batch mates and school mates eyes filled with happy tears.
Posing for pictures with peers and teachers,
And clicking pics of the classrooms, playgrounds and other parts of the school, they hold most dear.
Some may look different, some may not,
Some may be bankers, actors, models, homemakers, teachers, what not,
But no one will forget the good old school days,
Which has made us what we are today.
Independent, capable, wonderful women,
as we walk on our lives pathway.
I will miss the school reunion this year,
Meeting ole' mateys and teachers dear,
But I'm sure many Carmelites like me from Mumbai are faraway,
Maybe we can have a mini reunion wherever we stay, Ain't it a great idea, what say!
